We think there are needs and circumstances to justify the existence of ALTERNATIVTOUR Ltd., seeking to intervene under the Nature Tourism. We believe in our training, commitment and style of work is able to intervene successfully in the organization, promotion and event management, sports tourism.

The Braveland is dedicated to outdoor activities, production of events for groups, schools or companies. The activities that we are proposing are based on a trilogy, Water - Earth - Air, encompassing a wide range of new situations in harmony with nature. Each of them has special characteristics and offer unique experiences. In all our adventures, the guarantee of unforgettable moments well spent and that will certainly revive a passion for the natural world around us.

Opened in October of 1999, the Museum of the Cork Factory is one of the few in Portugal and it's an exhibition area of about 1400m2. Through the various rooms, you can relive the atmosphere of the old workshop, attend film screenings on topics of cork, and knowing the origins of the factory.

The Lands, pioneer of tourism in nature based on the Algarve in Faro, calls from the discovery of this protected area. The options available are: Walks and Tours; Tours of Note of Birds; Traditional boat trip; Tours of the Catamaran Island Lighthouse and the island Deserta; Baptism, classes and courses in sailing.

At the lake you can Sail, Windsurf, Canoeing or just relax on a Pedalo. If you like real speed and adrenaline go down to the beach, where you can have Jet Skis, Banana-rides, Ringo-rides or Water Ski. We have Water Ski lessons, with experienced instructors. You can also join your family and friends in a "Family Try-it-all Program" and make your holiday unforgetable!

Began building in 1997, the Zoological Park of Lagos, was inaugurated on 16 November 2000 with the patronage of Maria João Abreu, José Raposo. The design of spaces, the movement of land, planting of trees, the transportation of logs and stones and an extreme care in details according to the species, have led to the Zoological Park of Lagos, was the recognition that today boasts, which transmits the sensation of animal welfare residents, architectural simplicity and call for reflection.

Based on the theme The Life of the Oceans, Zoomarine at present occupies over 8 hectares, where, with a single ticket, the visitor has access to an area of leisure, entertainment and education. In extremely welcoming and fascinating surroundings, with a focus on education and awareness of the preservation of marine life, all the secrets and charms of nature are revealed.
